FROM - PA GOP: Professors Obama
& Pelosi to Carney: You Get an “A” In LIBERAL Arts

Republican Party of Pennsylvania
HARRISBURG – Republican Party of Pennsylvania Spokesman Mike Barley
released the following statement regarding news that 10th District
Democratic Congressman Chris Carney has voted to advance the Obama-Pelosi
Agenda 91% of the time according to The
Washington Post.
“Make no mistake about it: Carney is one of the most
fierce supporters of the Obama-Pelosi Agenda,” said Barley, “Under their watch,
unemployment and the national debt have nearly doubled with no end in sight.
Chris Carney has voted to support the ultra-liberal Obama-Pelosi agenda 91% of
the time, and by any standard, scoring a 91% on any test earns you an ‘A’.”
“The fact of the matter is that Chris Carney has decided to
choose the wishes of his Democratic leaders over the needs of his constituents.
At a time when the unemployment rate is constantly flirting with double-digits,
it’s no surprise that Americans are continuing to reject the liberal agenda of
Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and their star pupil, Chris Carney.
“If Chris Carney is as fiscally conservative and
independent as he claims, then what is he doing supporting the Obama-Pelosi
agenda nearly 91% of the time, including government-run health care and a
nearly $1 trillion stimulus package?
According to the latest CBS Poll, conducted on July
9-12th, 2010, less than 25% of Americans believe that the agenda
championed by Obama, Pelosi and Chris Carney will improve the economy.
Barley concluded, “It’s time for the people of the 10th Congressional
District to elect a Congressman who put their needs first – it’s
time to elect Tom Marino!”

The race
to be Pennsylvania’s next governor is the closest it's been to date, but
Republican State Attorney General Tom Corbett still holds a 10-point
lead over his Democratic opponent, Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan
Onorato.
A
new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state
finds Corbett earning 49% of the vote to Onorato’s 39%, his best
showing so far this year. Four percent (4%) prefer some other
candidate, while eight percent (8%) are not sure. |

This
video doesn't exactly represent our point of view--we never fell for
Obama's "hope and change" scam---but it does
speak for many millions of Americans. Its nicely done.
We'll see a lot more of this kind of populist calling of Democrats to
account between now and November:
UPDATE:
Apparently liberals have been trying to drive this video off
YouTube. The original link no longer works this one does, for now at

House GOP Leader Statement on Budget
Saying that the state budget spends $1 billion less than originally proposed,
House Republican Leader Sam Smith (R-Jefferson) issued the following statement
relative to the final spending plan.
“House Republicans continued our fight for the residents, employers and
taxpayers of Pennsylvania,” Smith said. “Once again, in the face of a
multi-billion-dollar deficit, we fought to control spending, and we fought
multiple tax increases. Pennsylvania families and employers just don’t have the
extra money to pay for more or expanded government services. Read More>>
